Custom-matched DIY Kit Returns

Because we are involved in the testing and analysis of samples provided by our clients, our custom-matched kits bear a much higher level of responsibility on our part. We want our clients to be happy with the results, and it is in our best interest to make sure this happens. Our guarantee for our custom-matched kits is outlined below.

Upon receipt of a custom-matched kit, test our system on a non-conspicuous area of your leather. If you are not fully satisfied that the results will be as expected, simply return your kit within 30 days of its shipping date for a refund of the purchase price. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

For a period of one (1) year after the restoration project using our custom-matched kit is completed, if any subsequent failure becomes evident that we deem is not related to any pre-existing condition(s) and/or improper application, but due to material failure, we will provide a solution to address the failed areas. We will provide the chemistry and application tooling at our expense. Location-specific material costs (such as stripping solvents, shop rags, etc.) are the client's responsibility.

If our solution does not rectify the problem, or if the problem cannot be reasonably resolved, we will refund the purchase price of the kit. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Stock DIY Kit Returns

As we are not involved in the testing and analysis of a client's specific leather with the purchase of a stock color kit, our liability is limited to:

If the kit is tested in a small, inconspicuous area, and the result is not as expected, return the kit within 21 days of the shipping date, and we will refund the purchase price. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

For a period of 90 days after the restoration project using our stock color kit is completed, if any subsequent failure becomes evident that we deem is not related to any pre-existing condition(s) and/or improper application, but due to material failure, we will propose a solution to correct it. We will provide the chemistry and application tooling at our expense. Location-specific material costs (such as stripping solvents, shop rags, etc.) are the client's responsibility.

DIY Kit Components purchased separately

Any kit component purchased separately from a kit may be returned in un-used condition for a refund. Returns of used items will not be accepted. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Leather Care Products

Any of our leather care and maintenance products can be returned for a refund, provided 75% or more of the product remains un-used. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Professional Leather Repair and Restoration Products

Any of our professional leather restoration products can be returned for a refund of that item's purchase price, provided 75% or more of the product remains unused. ADV Leather, Inc. takes no responsibility for the improper application of our professional leather restoration products, and will not accept any returns without prior contact from the returning party, to establish the reason for the return. In instances of product failure prior to application (shelf-life issues, etc.), we may, at our discretion, elect to ship replacement product, rather than refund the product purchase price.

All returns including custom kits, stock kits, kit components, and care/maintenance products may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be assessed at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.
